French Macaron Class

The Macaron is one of the hottest culinary items now. Here is your chance to learn the history of the macaron and also how to make them. This class is taught by Chef Tim Brown, instructor at Johnson & Wales Rhode Island, and will cover the fundamentals including different styles of meringue used to make the shell (Italian, Swiss and French) as well as different options for centers (ganache, buttercream, jelly and caramel).
You will learn all the essentials to make macarons for your friends and family. This will include how to make the shell, fillings as well as recipes. Each person will also take home a 12 piece box of macarons. There will be plenty of tasting the macarons in the class as well.
We will provide beverages and light finger foods for your enjoyment while in attendance.
· Participants must make reservations in advance as space is limited and classes sell out quickly. Call us at 727-593-0656 to make a reservation or register at EventBrite. All reservations require payment. ($60.00+tax per person)
· We require participants wear minimal jewlery, closed-toed shoes and long pants as you will be working in our factory with food product. You must have closed-toed shoes to participate. Aprons and hair nets will be provided.
All tools, equipment and ingredients will be provided for each participant.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age (unless accompanied and supervised by parent or legal guardian)
