Description

Love cooking? Or better yet, love eating? November is Convent Pride month and the St. Joseph's Convent POS Past Pupils' Association has arranged three incredible hands-on culinary classes, hosted in the fabulous state-of-the-art Fanatic Kitchen Studio! Our SJC chefs will guide participants through the execution of an indulgent feast. Sprinkle some ole talk, a dash of nostalgia and a hefty portion of laughter…food for the soul indeed.

Cooks will gather around a family table at the end to share the meal and delightful conversation with new and old friends.

13th November, 6-9pm | French Baking Affair – Decadent vegetarian indulgence with Chef Ashley of Chaud Cafe

Main: Wild Mushroom Quiche: an all-butter pie crust filled and baked with mixture of egg, cream, milk, sautéed mushrooms and shallots.

Dessert: Apple Galette, Caramel sauce, Lime Chantilly: A rustic, free-form tart that is cooked on a baking sheet rather than in a tart pan, prepared with apples, warm caramel sauce and a light Chantilly cream.

Chef Ashley Richardson attended Trinidad & Tobago Hospitality & Tourism Institute [TTHTI] where she completed her Culinary Management Associate Degree. After that, Ms. Richardson attended and received her diploma from Le Cordon Bleu in London. Upon graduation Ashley worked at the prestigious 45 Park Lane Hotel, a member of the Dorchester Collection of Hotels for three and a half years before returning to Trinidad and further her culinary adventures. She is currently the Head Pastry Chef and Kitchen Supervisor at Chaud Café & Wine Bar.

TTD $250/ USD$40.22 per person.
