About this event
The YWCA Weaving Programme supports beneficiary women from marginalized backgrounds with flexible income opportunities through the sale of woven products as well as the preparation and facilitation of workshops
Our introductory weaving class teaches you the basics of freestyle weaving on a SAORI loom. During the class, we will guide you through weaving your very own textile piece (scarf or tapestry or table runner, for instance) on our weaving looms that you can bring home at the end of the class. A class runs for 2.5 hours.
