Use Your Words and Rock the Vote!

World renowned hip-hop poet Toni Blackman will lead a workshop in the art of freestyle (improvised) rap at ArtsWestchester's gallery in downtown White Plains. Blackman, the first hip-hop ambassador to the U.S. State Department, is an award-winning artist who has performed alongside Erykah Badu and the Wu-Tang Clan. This event is offered in association with ArtsWestchester’s “Give Us The Vote” exhibition, which examines the state of voting rights in America today. The event will offer all day voter registration with “Rock the Vote”!
