Event description

Description

An evening for all freelancers to learn about setting up cooperatives.

Self-employment is booming in the capital. Freelancing can be liberating, but all too often this comes at a price: isolation, precariousness and insecure pay.

Join us for an evening of discussion, meeting like-minded freelancers, and hearing from speakers including Alex Bird (Co-operatives UK), and Kayleigh Walsh (Outlandish - a tech cooperative of freelancers).

This evening is part of the Altgen Freelancers Cooperative Pilot, which aims to inspire young freelancers in creative industries to set up coops. This programme forms part of Cooperatives UK's Precariat Project.
