Description

Do you love Boston? Do you love history? Do you love drinking? If so, this crawl is the one for you. I recently got to thinking about how bad of a Bostonian I am for not taking advantage of everything Boston has to offer, particularly the touristy stuff. Having been born in Somerville and moved to the North Shore at a young age, I feel as though I've been taking our wonderful city for granted, by spending all my weekends at the same bars in Southie. It's time for that to change. That's why, I've decided to plan a Freedom Trail Bar Crawl, where we will walk past all the historic sites and right into the bars, have a beer or two, and boogie to the next one. In case you're unfamiliar, the Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile walk across Boston that maps out (most of) Boston's historic sites. Many times, these locations have wonderful and relatively uncharted bars right next to them. I propose we all get together and explore the city in new form, similarly to the pilgrims, and then the revolutionists. Hell, drink enough, you might even think you are one. Feel free to invite whomever you like, as the more the merrier. Since the U.S. Constitution was created on September 17, 1787, I felt like Saturday, September 16th, 2017, was the perfect day for this adventure.

The bars that we will stop at will be chosen in the coming weeks!
