About this Event

Ladies, come and join the adventure! This is a ladies only endurance hike to raise funds for the non profit organization Rescue:Freedom International. Rescue Freedom exists to empower the rescue and restoration of women and children suffering in sexual slavery. With partner sites in 16 countries, they have touched the lives of over 48,000 women and children. Learn more at www.rescuefreedom.org

Come into the wild and embark on a journey of personal growth all while joining the fight against human trafficking! The goal for this endurance hike is to push personal limits, step out of our comfort zone and conquer the tallest of the Three Sisters. We will summit to over 10,000 ft via the South Sister and Green Lakes Loop! This is a 20 mile monderately trafficked loop trail and is rated as difficult. South Sister is the third talles mountain in Oregon at 10,363' at its highest point. It features sweeping views and alpine lakes.

You will be responsible for transportation to the event hotel (details below)at least one day before your hike and plan for 2 nights of lodging. You will be emailed a hotel that will have rooms blocked off under the name FREEDOM HIKERS. We are able to take 40 hikers and we will be hiking in groups of 12 (with 2 experienced leaders) max due to official trail limitations. Half of the ticket sales go directly to Rescue:Freedom to kick off our $25,000 campaign! The other $100 is to cover expenses of gear for leadership, training accountability, planning, car permits, post hike food and celebration, travel for experienced leaders that will lead you through the trail, hospitality crew, swag bag, etc. Anything remaining from the event budget will be donated to the campaing. This is a non-for profit event!
