There are an estimated 2,000,000 children commercially sexually exploited every year. 500,000 are in India. Freedom Firm is dedicated to the liberation of these children enslaved in commercial sexual exploitation, to their effective rehabilitation, and to justice against those who have profited from their misery.
Freedom Firm’s work has just been documented in a film by Ben Stamper entitle, Horse and Rider: A Journey Towards Freedom. The film is about two survivors of underage sex-trafficking. Now living somewhere between rescue and restoration, between the past and the future. [Trailer + Read more...]
Aradhna powerfully melds Indian classical melody, rhythm, and devotional lyrics, with the sounds of folk and rock. Founded in 2000, we have traveled the world performing our unique style of east-west fusion. In May 2012 we released our sixth studio album, “SAPNA,” (dream), an album “created to make space, to open the door for journey, reflection, and praise.”
North Carolina’s Songs of Water gracefully weaves world-folk traditions in an intimate Americana setting. The ferocity of complex percussive rhythms, sparse cinematic vocals & dancing melodies create an earthy, yet transportive musical narrative. They’ve shared the stage with artists such as bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs, John Mark McMillan, and Sounds Familyr recording artists Ben + Vesper.
Stephen & Luke will be opening the evening as well as joining us later in the night. Please come and support Freedom Firm’s work and our last Atlanta area performance before taking a much needed break!
