About this event
Objectives:
• Reduce stigma of persons who use drugs and/or persons living with hepatitis among healthcare providers
• Increase provider awareness of harm reduction and complimentary services for persons who use drugs
• Foster trust in healthcare services among people living with HCV and/or people who use drugs
• Reduce Morbidity and Mortality
• Free 1 hr of CME credit availabe
What is Project ECHO?
• A model that uses technology to leverage scarce resources
• Share best practices to reduce disparities
• Apply case-based learning to master complexity
• Evaluate and monitor outcomes
CME credits will be available for all participants.
Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of Ochsner Clinic Foundation and Louisiana Department of Health.
