Photographing your artwork can seem like a simple task, but can quickly become a daunting project depending on your end use needs. Local professional photographer Kip Bulwinkle will demonstrate the basics for photographing artwork in this FREE two-hour workshop.

This workshop will cover how to photograph both 2-D and 3-D artwork. Discussion topics will include media uses for artwork images (social media, printmaking, archiving), lighting scenarios (natural vs. continuous vs. strobe), necessary equipment, and camera settings. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Carson “Kip” Bulwinkle is the owner and lead photographer of Karson Photography, which he established in 2004, and the founder of the North Charleston Artist Guild. His many local photography positions include educator and resident photographer for Redux Contemporary Art Center, lead photographer for Art Mag, contributing photographer for Charlie Magazine, editorial photographer for College of Charleston Magazine, as well as Marketing and Advertising Photographer for the South Carolina Aquarium. His national clients include Forbes Books, Energizer, Centex Homes, AOL-Time Warner, BMW, QEI Security, Raising Canes, and Publix Supermarkets.
