What To Bring: Bring a sack lunch and sun protection. Participants can bring their own materials for watercolor painting. Alternatively, starter kits will be for sale ($30). They contain 12 tubes of paint, brushes, paper, palette, and pencils in a mesh carrying case.

About the Instructor: Linda Curtis Linda Curtis makes her home near Boulder Creek in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where she is inspired by the majestic redwoods, landscapes, and botanical diversity around her. Curtis' paintings capture the ephemeral qualities of California landscapes, with the purpose of "encapsulat[ing] moments that will never be repeated in exactly the same way." Her current EcoCenter exhibit, "Shapes of Nature" celebrates the dancing rhythms of nature through watercolor, acrylic, and water-based oil paintings.
