Infant Massage Class


Teaches mothers the skills they need to effectively massage their baby. Participants will learn the benefits of massaging their baby which include: improving bonding, promoting social, emotional and cognitive development, and promoting mobility.

  • Registration required to participate
  • Mondays: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Instructor Bio:

Safiya Hassan, founder of N-diya Center for Healing and Divine Deliveries Center for Reproductive Health and Childbirth, is a RN and holistic practitioner with over 20 years experience in the healthcare field. Her desire to facilitate healing and promote preventative health initiatives in the community lead her to develop the Well Woman Program at the Family Wellness Suite at the Brooklyn Neighborhood Health Action Center.

NYC DOHMH Family Wellness Suite: A safe, welcoming and supportive space for women and their families to connect to community resources and city agency services for support. Visitors can get help avoiding eviction, enrolling in health insurance and finding a job.
