Do I have to have Dance skills/ experience?

THIS IS NOT A DANCE CLASS! Dance skills are not a requirement. It is a healing movement modality particularly aimed at improving mental health outcomes. Dance therapy uses improvisation with moments of connected movement to bring about the release of old stored emotions imprinted in the body.

How accessible is this session?

Please take into consideration that this particular session will be held on the beach sand. Future indoor or grass based sessions may be more accessible for those with different mobility requirements.

What happens in a Therapeutic Dance Session?

Session types and structures vary. This session will include a basic yoga style warm up, followed by a selection of guided and improvised movements. We finish with a short relaxing meditation.
