Beginners slackline workshop
Join Rich Oberdorf and Ariel Mihic of the YogaSlackers for an adventure on the Slackline!
By bringing balance onto a 1” piece of webbing, slackline yoga develops focus, dynamic stillness, power, breath, core integration, flexibility, and confidence to create a suspended and elevated vinyasa.
This introductory workshop gives students the tools they need to develop a slackline practice that includes four basic modalities: kneeling, standing, sitting, and arm balancing.
All levels are welcome. This session will provide a safe environment for beginners, and also an opportunity for more experienced slackers to sharpen their skills.

Ariel and Liz began their acrobatics partnership in 2009; dare we say it was love at first flight? They have trained extensively with world renowned coaches over their years of practice together and have been teaching as part of the YogaSlackers crew since 2011.
Motivated by the interplay of strength and receptivity, Ariel and Liz are known for challenging their students with new material in a way that is safe and attainable.
Ariel has a Doctorate in Pharmacy and certifications in the following yoga disciplines: Ashtanga, AcroYoga, YogaSlackers, Thai Massage/Pranassage.
Liz is a licensed physical therapist and is certified in the following disciplines: massage therapy, yoga therapy, and YogaSlackers.
