Event description

Effective immediately Legal Aid is canceling all legal information clinics for the month of March because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and state of emergency. At this time we do not know if we will be able to resume clinics in April. You are welcome to sign up for a clinic at a later date and time on our website:

We apologize for the inconvenience

Legal Aid of North Carolina's free simple divorce clinics teach participants how to file a simple divorce action in court without the help of a lawyer. Participants receive all the necessary legal forms and can ask general questions of Legal Aid lawyers. (Specific legal advice for individual cases is not provided at these clinics.)

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS: Clinics are held at multiple locations throughout the state, including at Legal Aid of North Carolina offices, churches, libraries, community centers and more.
