Free Self Defense class at Revolution BJJ
Join us for a free class (the first in a three class series) on self-defense. This class is open to anyone interested in learning self-defense, but we want to make it explicitly clear that we are aiming to create a welcoming environment for those in the LGBTQ community. We are aware that many LGBTQ adults and teens (especially trans people, including nonbinary & genderqueer folks) might not feel welcome in a normal training environment. Our goal is to counteract that and provide everyone with a safe space to train.
Standing self defense - defending yourself on your feet
Ground self defense - what to do of you are taken down to the ground by an attacker

Admission is free. We will have carpools available for people who might not have transportation of their own (leave a comment on the Facebook event page saying you’re interested in a carpool and your location with your RSVP). You can also take the 6 bus line to be dropped off a few blocks away.
We do have limited room, so please don't RSVP unless you can make it! If you RSVP but your plans change, please cancel your signup so that someone else can attend. Thank you!
