FREE SBIR/STTR Phase 0 Pilot Program Workshop (Part 1 - UM)

This one-hour, free workshop will take attendees through the essentials of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase 0 program established by Enterprise Florida to help Florida businesses increase their chances of submitting successful funding proposals to these programs. The workshop covers the Phase 0 program pre-qualifications, the application process, proposal concept assessments, review of the $3,000 implementation grant funding, allowable expenses, contracting, payments, and associated fees. The Phase 0 workshop also introduces attendees to the basics of the federal SBIR/STTR grant programs including agency solicitation schedules and local training opportunities. Parties interested in the Phase 0 are invited to attend the Phase 1 Proposal Preparation Workshop on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the University of Miami Life Science and Technology Park located at 1951 NW 7th Ave., Miami, FL 33136 (conference room A an B, 1st floor).
