Get a break from the summer heat and learn how to curl in an inclusive environment!
In conjunction with the 3rd annual Slide With Pride bonspiel, the Okanagan Pride Curling League and the Kelowna Curling Club are hosting 2 free Learn2Curl sessions! Celebrate the end of Pride Month by joining us for a fun-filled event celebrating inclusivity and diversity in the curling community. Special guest Bruce Mouat, Olympic medalist from Scotland, will also be in attendance!
We invite curlers of all skill levels to join us Friday, June 26 or Saturday, June 27 to try out curling and meet new friends. You will receive 1 hour of on-ice instruction with OPCL curlers.
Curling equipment will be available for use free of charge. All gender identities, orientations, and allies welcome.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to get fitted with curling shoes. Bring layers and wear comfortable, stretchy pants.
