We believe that physical wellbeing should be accessible to everyone. Being active can mean different things to different people, and it’s really important that you find activities that you enjoy and feel comfortable doing.
We know that some activities and spaces don’t always feel accessible or accommodating, so we’ve making September our ‘Trans Active month’ so you can try out new classes, sports and activities.
Free physical wellbeing and movement classes
LGBT Foundation’s Trans Programme will be offering free physical wellbeing and movement classes for the trans* community, on 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th September at LGBT Foundation 6-7:30pm. The classes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please join us for these fun, inclusive and energetic dance workshops. A great way to get in touch with your body, express yourself and learn a new style of movement, all levels are welcome.
To begin, we will focus on the foundations of contemporary dance technique to improve strength and coordination. Then using great music, we will master new skills and dance routines. There will be space to explore your individual movement style and also chance to create your own choreography. Each session will build from the previous, so clear your Friday evenings and come and dance with us each week.
Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, and be aware that we will be dancing in our socks.
If you would like any further information about these classes please email email@example.com
