FREE Orientation for the Winter 2018 Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course. The course runs Monday evenings 6:30 - 8:45 PM starting January 15 on consecutive Mondays until March 5, with an all-day retreat Saturday February 24. The course will be held at Harmony Yoga in the Hollywood District. More here. 

Why Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)?

*Are you dealing with illness, pain or stress and struggle with these issues? 
*Have you wanted to start a meditation practice to deal with stress or find balance, but find it challenging or just haven't been able to establish a steady practice?

FREE Orientation – Whole Foods, Yoga Studio (upstairs) 3535 NE 15th Avenue, Portland

The 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Series:

*Secular. evidence-based and addresses a broad range of chronic disorders, problems and health issues 
*Teaches you to identify your stress triggers, understand and experience how these affect your mind and body and reduce reactivity 
*By investigating the triggers which cause stress, which can diminish physical and emotional health, you will learn effective tools for dealing with the challenges life brings 
*Develop mindfulness practices to bring about the change to lead you to more ease and balance as you learn to manage stress and the unfolding in life in a new way. Is now the time to take stock to reflect on what is most meaningful to deal with challenges in your life?

Cost: $385 with Early-bird registration by January 10. $440 thereafter. Some scholarships available.

Attending an orientation is not a commitment to take the course, but is required prior to taking the series and will help you determine if the course is right for you. Come check it out!
