I didn’t book on Eventbrite. Can I just turn up on the day?

Yes, you can just turn up on the day! Booking on Eventbrite helps to give us an indication of numbers.

How do I get there?

Parking is available at the park. You can also access the park on foot or by bike. 
If you're travelling by train, you can arrive at Cambridge North train station first. From there, it's a 30-minute walk to the park. Or you can take Bus 2, which runs every 20 minutes, and stop at Winship Road.

There are toilets before entering the main park entrance and inside the cafe.

I have a medical condition. Can I still join?

Absolutely. We welcome people of all abilities. Please make the organiser aware of any conditions which may affect your ability to participate or which we need to be aware of.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes. If it has rained the night before, wearing wellington boots may be a good idea.

Will the walk go ahead if it’s raining or the weather is bad?

If there is light rain, the walk will go ahead. If heavy rain, wind or snow is predicted, the walk will be cancelled. If you sign up via the Eventbrite link, we will keep you updated via email.

I’m not of East or Southeast Asian origin. Can I still come?
