Who is Adam Goldstein?
Adam Goldstein was named President & COO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in 2014. Goldstein oversees the corporation’s shared services portfolio including HR, IT, Safety & Environment, Supply Chain Management, Corporate Communications, Government Relations, Commercial Development, Risk Management and Guest Port Services.
Goldstein has been with the company since 1988. Prior to 2014, he held the positions of President & CEO, Royal Caribbean International, Senior Vice President, Total Guest Satisfaction; Senior Vice President, Marketing; Vice President, Marketing; Vice President, International Sales and Marketing; Director, Market Development; and Corporate Secretary to Royal Caribbean’s Board of Directors.
Goldstein served on the Board of Directors of the Travel Industry Association of America (TIA), now known as U.S. Travel Association, from 1993 to 2012. He was National Chair of TIA in 2001, and has been inducted into the Travel Industry Hall of Leaders. Goldstein served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Our Kids, Inc. from 2007 to 2009, a nonprofit with oversight responsibility for foster care and related services for approximately 4,000 children in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. He currently serves on the Our Kids Advisory Board.
In 1998, Advertising Age named Goldstein to the “Marketing 100,” the magazine’s annual roundup of the best and brightest American and international marketing minds.
Goldstein graduated with honors from Princeton University, majoring in public policy at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He also has a law degree from Harvard University and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, the European business school in Fontainebleau, France. Goldstein and his wife have two children and live in Coral Gables, FL.

The Leadership Lecture series features world-class, accomplished and influential leaders with expertise ranging from business and philanthropy to public service and academic research. The lectures in each year’s series usually begins with the first of four lectures in the fall. Our goal with this series is to allow our community to have access to the expertise, advice and best practices of some the world’s foremost leadership minds, and as such, the lectures are free and open to the public.
