The Free Key Choir is presenting another round of choral arrangements of songs by songwriters from within the choir, this time with never before heard renditions of local artists Boy Scouts (Taylor Vick), Sucker Crush, Ariel Wang, and Rowan Katz. Led by Derek Sup, the 100-member ensemble will be presenting their unique approach to choral singing and community-based art-making to the bay area the weekend of June 16-18. Come spend the longest evenings of summer by being drenched in the glory of 100 singers, brass quartet, organ, piano, strings, and guitars!
The last shows of the Free Key Choir in March, called After the Rain, featured songs by Emily Brown, Katsy Pline, Cole Pulice, Cuntstomer Servixxx, and Sour Widows. These concerts were featured on KQED and all sold out well in advance, so make sure you purchase your tickets for these shows as soon as you can!
