Calling all career seekers/career changers, those re-entering the work force, those looking for supplemental income, and business owners who want to network:
We meet every Wednesday at 10 am in the main lobby of the News Tribune in Tacoma where the couches are and at 10 am someone will come out and escort you into the room. Everyone who attends receives a one minute commercial on who they are and what jobs or business they are looking for (depending on if they are a job seeker or a business owner), Carly (leader of the Job Club as well as professional career coach and writer) will then share open job positions, job seeker advice, networking and volunteer opportunities, motivational support, and free/low cost community events/activities.
After that, the end of the meeting consists of anything that anybody else feels is relevant to share with the group.
Job Club ends at 11:30 am on presentation days when Carly performs a free half hour seminar on a different career related topic Job Club will end at noon.
If you have ideas for other speakers at the Job Club, don't hesitate to contact Carly.
