Event description
You are INVITED to our Interdisciplinary Experimental Creative Collaborative Experience.

About this event

Our Free Interdisciplinary Experimental Creative Collaboration Group is a Friendly Place to Grow As A Creative Person

(even if you don't think you're very creative!)

…But Is This Right for YOU?

Take This Self-Assessment and Find Out

  1. Are you interested in trying new ways of expressing your creativity? (Yes: continue. No: Stop.)
  2. Are you interested in inspiring and being inspired by creative people in different disciplines…and maybe even working together with them on a project? (Yes: continue. No: Stop.)
  3. Would you appreciate having a creative structure to support your growth as a creative person? (Yes: continue. No: Don’t worry, this one’s optional; keep going.)
  4. Would it help you a lot just to have a place where you feel accepted, understood, appreciated, and valued? (Yes: continue. No: Stop.)

Did you make it to the end? Clicking this link to join the group is the next step:

Yes, I’ve Been Looking for A Creative Group Like This My Whole Life, or at Least Since Covid Started What’s the Difference Anymore?

Not Convinced Yet? Then I Shall Keep Convincing You With My Magic Word Powrrrrrr

We use a creative structure to stretch us and help us grow…

It’s like “Who’s Line Is It Anyway” but with projects.

Monthly Projects

1. Provocation + Format Challenge

At the beginning of each month, I announce the Provocation…

(like a suggestion in improv)…

and the Format Challenge…

(like your choice of Pecha Kucha, Meditation Parody, or Like a Server Telling You About Tonight’s Specials).

2. Interdisciplinary Experimental Creative Collaboration

Have a cool idea for what you want to do with the monthly project but need other people, other talents, new ideas, suggestions, advice, partners, actors, artists, etc. etc.?

That’s what we’re all there for!

Talk in the group about what you’re thinking of, what you’re looking for, and see what happens!

Maybe you’ll meet your new best friend.

3. Show & Tell

We meet on Zoom at the end of the month for a Show & Tell.

You can share whatever you did with the Provocation and Format Challenge. We will clap for you. With MUCH enthusiasm. Also: you're cool and you're doing a great job!

Who knows what will happen.

But if you don’t want or don’t need this kind of structure, don’t even worry about it!

It’s optional!

You can also use our group to…

  • Get collaborators for your creative projects
  • Give and receive ideas for other creative collaborations that you’re working on
  • Ask your fellow creative people about the things you’ve been wondering about
  • Share the creative projects you are working on
  • Get feedback (if you want it)
  • Invite us to come see / participate in your creative online event (only one post per event please!)
