Free Guided Walking Tour of Boston's North End Harborwalk
The Friends of the Boston HarborWalk are delighted that Jan Engelman will lead us on a guided tour of Boston's North End. All are welcome, but please only RSVP if you plan to come, as space is limited and we want to be able to contact you in case of inclement weather.
We will meet at the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel inside the first floor lobby near the Starbucks stand. The nearest MBTA stop is the Aquarium Blue Line. We'll wind our way along each of the North End's multiple wharves, ending up at the Battery Wharf Maritime Museum. At this point, guests may find one of many wonderful restaurants to have lunch, determine whether Mike's or Modern Pastry has better cannoli, or walk a brief distance to North Station to catch the MBTA.
The Friends of the Boston HarborWalk is a volunteer organization with Boston Harbor Now. We meet monthly and host guided walks along Boston's 47-mile HarborWalk. If you have participated in one or more of our walks, please consider participating in the Friends or making a small donation to the all-volunteer group. For more information, please email Mike Manning at firstname.lastname@example.org.
