Description

Join Chandler Center for the arts for a free screening of THE 5 BROWNS: DIGGING THROUGH THE DARKNESS.

Independently produced by the award-winning filmmaker, Ben Niles, this feature-length documentary explores the lives of five sibling pianists—The 5 Browns—from the very early days at Juilliard and their overnight stardom, to the tragic realization among the three girls - Desirae, Deondra and Melody - that they were all sexually abused by their father as children.

Told intimately using archival family video, interviews, rehearsals, performances and verité footage, the film weaves together a remarkable story of musical determination and passion mirrored by profound bravery and survival. More on the film and the trailer at the5brownsmovie.com
