Event description

Description

Nipsey Hussle was not only a profound lyricist, he was king of conceptualizing his story! This conceptualization of his everyday existence granted his fans and followers a VIP pass into his creative process, his work ethic, and his deepest ambitions. There are very few EMCEES/Rappers that can execute business initiatives & community service as well as they can talk them into a microphone! Nipsey’s compelling DIY journey has influenced his followers and his fellow peers to invest in their communities. Many artists from inner city neighborhoods depict their upbringing through their rough and descriptive stories. Neighborhood Nip spoke from a place of deep experience but with a vision of change! He was a true testiment of using music as a form of therapy for self and listeners. A career was cut short when Nipsey Hussle was snatched from this realm but, a legacy stands that will impact generations to come.

On Saturday August 17th from 2pm - 9pm Philly Art Collective Gallery will dedicate an exhibit to Nipsey! Local artists will feature Nipsey Hussle themed artwork portions of donations will go a selected arts organization here in our community to insist that THE MARATHON CONTINUES. The first 600 tickets will be given for FREE. Tickets will be donation based afterwards. 100 FREE Nipsey themed prints will be given away to the first 100 patrons to enter. Free Wine will be served and live music will be playing throughout the duration of this event.
