Event Details

How is your SIPPS implementation going? Developmental Studies Center just released SIPPS 3rd edition through the continued collaboration with Dr. John Shefelbine. SIPPS 3rd edition includes enhanced instruction to support the Common Core Foundational Skills and the demand for students to read increasingly complex texts.  In addition, SIPPS now includes digital tools to support instruction, from managing groups to monitoring progress!

SIPPS 3rd edition highlights:

  • Enhanced instruction for Common Core Foundational Skills including adjustments to the phonological awareness demands in SIPPS Beginning level, explicit instruction of two-syllable words in SIPPS Extension level, and more!
  • SIPPS digital assessment tool – captures student data from placement and mastery tests; automatically generates groups
  • SIPPS card app – manage digital card decks for multiple groups; automatically shuffles and adds cards for each use!
  • Digital teacher’s manual - embedded professional development with animations of the instructional routines and classroom observation video

Join our webinar with a SIPPS specialist to learn more about the SIPPS 3rd edition enhancements – Q&A session included for SIPPS users of any edition that may have questions or need extra support!
