Event description

Description

American citizenship provides many privileges and protections: the right to vote, security against deportation, ability to bring more family to the U.S., increased job opportunities and more. Now you can get trusted help from a Department of Justice Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) recognized nonprofit organization to complete your citizenship application at the San Jose Public Library Alum Rock Branch.

Event details:

At this workshop, you will receive information on U.S. citizenship eligibility requirements and exemptions, get help to complete your naturalization application (N-400), and learn whether you may be eligible for an application fee waiver. Your case will be reviewed by a Board of Immigration Appeals accredited representative who will serve as your representative with USCIS, alert you to updates in your case, and provide you trusted guidance and advice throughout the entire naturalization process. All services are free!

Registration is required.
