Description

In celebration of Black History Month, Delaware Valley University is hosting a free, community screening of the award-winning film “Black Panther,” followed by a panel discussion. The panel will include experts in African American History, graphic novels, African American literature and film and more.

The panel will include a special guest, Vice President of Programming at the African American Museum in Philadelphia Ivan Henderson, as well as DelVal faculty.

The faculty panelists include:

Associate Professor of English Dr. Jessica McCall
Assistant Professor of History and Policy Studies Dr. Craig Stutman
Associate Professor of English Dr. Wilbert Turner, Jr.

Tickets: There is no cost to attend, but advanced registration is required. Register online through Eventbrite. Seating is limited.
