Join us & celebrate the historic Houston neighborhood of Magnolia Park, the city's first true "barrio."
We'll have performances from:

Sister Sister Y Los Misters
Selena Q. Tribute
Robert Rodriguez & Mas Pulpo
Plus, mariachis, Aztec dancers & ballet folklorico dancers perform throughout the day, with a special rendition of "La Llorona."

Are you a car lover? Even if you aren't, you'll be awed by the award-winning lowriders from Houston's Texas Lowrider Council--art on wheels!
We're also proud to announce a new feature of the block party: "Magnolia Park, Houston's First Barrio," a historic exhibit organized in collaboration with Magnolia Grown, Houston Community College District, Houston Public Library & YOU--Magnolia Park residents! Never before has there been an exhibit dedicated to celebrating Magnolia Park's rich history as one of the oldest Houston neighborhoods & THE oldest Mexican neighborhood in the city.
