Fred Fleitz is Senior Vice President with the Center for Security Policy, a non-profit Washington, D.C.-based nonpartisan national security think tank where he focuses on the Iranian and North Korean nuclear programs, nonproliferation, the Middle East, terrorism, and intelligence reform. Fleitz served in U.S. national security positions for 25 years with CIA, DIA, the Department of State and the House Intelligence Committee staff. During the administration of President George W. Bush, Fleitz was chief of staff to John Bolton, then Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security.
Fleitz has written for the Wall Street Journal, Jerusalem Post, New York Post, National Review, Investor’s Business Daily, Washington Times, and other print media and has appeared on Fox News, Fox Business, MSNBC, EWTN, The Blaze, One America News, BBC, ITV, Sky News, Sky News Arabia, and other TV and radio programs in the United States and abroad. Fleitz holds a BA in Politics from Saint Joseph’s University and a Masters degree in International Political Economy from Fordham University. Fred and Julie Fleitz have been married for 25 years and met when they worked for the CIA Office of European Analysis. They live in Frederick, MD with their two children.
