An amazing cooking course for anyone who wants to cook healthy food and understand the changes that can be made to suit different dietary requirements.
The course is delivered by a Cordon Bleu trained chef who also worked as nanny. Her experience gives an in-depth understanding of cooking for and with children.
Throughout the day attendees will cook four dishes, whilst mastering the basics of many more aspects of cooking! The dishes chosen have been hand-picked for the skills they involve and how those skills, once mastered, are used in the creation of many more meals.
Soup: parsnip, swede and carrot
Main: A Classic Lasagne
Light meal: Ham and Mushroom Savoury Pancakes
Treat: Luxury Chocolate Fudge Cake
Attendees will be provided with a cook book, the recipes above (including the variations required to make them vegetarian, gluten or dairy free). They will receive a two week menu plan with ideas of healthy and fun meals to make using the skills learnt. The practical elements of food hygiene will be taught, including the fridge layout.
Tickets are £120, which includes all ingredients and refreshments on the day. You will also take home the food you make!
