Anton Bilchik, MD, PhD, FACS is Chief of Medicine at the John Wayne Cancer Institute and co-founder of the California Oncology Research Institute. He is an internationally recognized surgical oncologist who has pioneered techniques to improve staging in colon cancer and minimally invasive approaches for liver and pancreatic cancer. Dr. Bilchik has received numerous awards and accolades. He has been honored by the American Cancer Society, the American College of Surgeons, the Israel Surgical Oncology Society and has been listed as one of “America’sTop Surgeons” for ten years in a row. Dr. Bilchik serves on the editorial boards of many peer-review journals and currently serves on the board of directors of the Southern California Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
