When: Saturday, November 1st, 2014 from 9:00am to 3:00pm
Cost: $189/team (includes event t-shirt and lunch) There will be both Rx and Non-Rx divisions
Come out on Saturday November 1st to compete in the second annual FrankenWod throwdown. Again CrossFit San Jose will host series of grueling WOD’s that are sure to test overall strength and speed, and hangout to celebrate with us on the Day of the Dead. There will be 2 divisions of teams competing in several WODs! The action will kick off at 9:30 am.
Teams in the Rx division will consist of 2 men and 1 woman. Teams in the non-Rx division can have all men or all women.
Standards for the Rx division will be (but may not be in the actual events)
- C&J 185/115
- Snatch 135/85
- DL 350/225
- Rope Climbs (feet allowed)
- At least two team members should be able to hspu/muscle up (bar and ring)
Standards for non-Rx divsion are
- C&J 135/95
- Snatch 95/65
- DL 225/155
- unassisted pull ups
- double unders
- atleast 2 team members should be able to rope climb
- partner assisted HSPU.
- no muscle ups or pistols

In addition, our gym has a variety of atlas stones, kegs and other odd object that might want to make their way into a work out. We will announce most of the WODs the week prior to the competition. If you have any questions about minimum abilities for the Rx or non-Rx team, please email will a question.
Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st ($600Rx/400non Rx)2nd ($450Rx/300nonRx), 3rd($250Rx/200nonRx) and 4th($120Rx and nonRx) place team winners.
There will also be a costume contest, so don't get them too dirty on Friday night! 1 Team will win a prize for best costume. We will also be celebrating the winners throughout the afternoon (and night???). Be pepared for anything.
Spectators are free. Food and drink will be available on site ($). CrossFit San Jose will be providing the liquid fun for those that are of age (as it is no fun to celebrate alone.)
