This concert is proudly presented by the Embassy of Switzerland in USA as part of the 2022 DC Francophonie Festival. Join us at the outdoor oasis of The Wharf for an evening of insights into the culture of Francophone Switzerland, a concert by renowned Swiss musician Arma Jackson, and Swiss food and drinks.

The concert is free and open to the public.

About the artist:

Arma Jackson has given life to all of his musical projects within the walls of his family home in Lausanne, Switzerland. First guided by his older brothers' passion for rap, Arma gradually opened his ears to different genres, from Michael Jackson and Coldplay, to the chanson of Charles Aznavour, to create his own unique musical style: a melding of genres include hip-hop, rap, neo-soul, pop, and house music. His first album, Idéal, was released last year. The recipient of the 2021 Swiss Music Award for Best Artist from Francophone Switzerland, Arma Jackson is making a name for himself beyond Swiss borders.
