Leïla Slimani is a Franco-Moroccan writer, journalist and women’s and human rights advocate. She is also French president Macron’s personal representative for the promotion of the French language and culture.
Her novel Chanson douce (The Perfect Nanny) won the prestigious Prix Goncourt in 2016.
Leïla Slimani will talk about the topics that inspire her, her research, the writing process and the impact of the Prix Goncourt on her life and her career. Her talk will be followed by a Q&A. Her novel Chanson douce (The Perfect Nanny) will be for sale and will be signed by the author.
