Francesca & The Apostrophe | Debut Single Release + Birthday Bash party
Overview
Francesca & The Apostrophe | Debut release + Birthday Bash party
You’re invited to an evening that means the world to me.
This night is a celebration of life, music, and survival: my birthday and the release of my debut single, The Apostrophe.
If you’re reading this, it’s because you are part of my story, and I would love to have you there, celebrating not just my music but the fact that I’m still here: alive, creating, and grateful.
I wrote The Apostrophe on my birthday last year, in the wake of surviving cancer, as I shut away from the world coming to grips with survivor’s guilt, neurodivergence, and identity displacement. This song gave birth to the conceptual foundation for my artist project, Francesca & The Apostrophe.
The apostrophe marks an elision and holds the place for something that’s missing. This song is for survivors, for those who never seem to belong, for those never felt like they could fit in, the missing pieces, the unspoken trauma, the hidden resilience.
It has been a long journey to learn to love myself and accept the beauty in being who I am.
I’ll be headlining with a special live performance and exclusive unreleased music, joined by the wonderful Naiko as supporting act, for an intimate night of music and connection, and followed by an open deck DJ set for my friends and those who want to jump in and share their music.
I will be accompanied by an amazing live band with Kumar Chopra at the guitar, Geoff on the bass and Naiko on drums.
The event is free to attend, but donations are welcome in aid of Worldwide Cancer Research, a charity funding vital discovery research, uncovering how cancer works at its core to pave the way for future treatments and cures.
Come celebrate with me the beauty of life, art, and the power of starting again.
RSVP to reserve your spot — space is limited.
ABOUT NAIKO
Naiko’s music is raw, soulful, and deeply immersive—blending poetic storytelling with groove-driven soundscapes. Raised in choirs and shaped by gospel ensembles, his voice carries the weight of emotion and experience.
Originally a drummer for other artists, Naiko always knew he was meant for more. He found his voice—both literally and figuratively, after a string of personal challenges that forced him inward, where spirituality became his guide, helping him find his own truth.
With roots in classical, jazz, neo-soul, and pop, Naiko’s music is a fusion of colors and cultures—raw yet refined, intimate yet expansive. Whether you’re looking for something to move to, reflect on, or simply feel, Naiko’s sound meets you where you are and takes you somewhere new.
