Description

Unleash your inner animal!

The original Northern California Human Fox Hunt in beautiful Saratoga Springs, Upper Lake, California, will provide you with an unforgettable experience that combines animal roleplay, chase and capture scenarios, play parties, and high-fetish for a weekend of fun, frolic and fantasy.

The Fox Hunt is a live-action role-playing game of wit and wile, prowess and pursuit, where a human fox attempts to outwit teams of human hunting dogs, ponies, hunters, handlers, and trainers in an outdoor setting. Spectators can follow closely behind to watch as the fox is routed out by the pups and chased down and cornered. The hunt frequently takes on a kinky bent where the team that captures the fox negotiates a BDSM scene symbolizing the ritualized dismemberment in the spirit of fox hunting.

The Fox Hunt celebrates diversity! ALL animal role players and trainers/owners/wranglers/friends are welcome to play or watch in this gorgeous, pristine outdoor setting. No experience is necessary. No partners are necessary – there are usually enough additional wranglers and animals to go around for everyone.

This clothing-optional venue provides a safe, sane, and consensual environment for you to romp/frolic/gallop about as you please. There is plenty of outdoor space for lunge line running, cart pulling, a huge indoor BDSM play space, and 266 forested acres for the hunts. And remember hunters and campers, there are absolutely no clothing restrictions whatsoever. This means that you can have dinner in your finest latex cat costume, or have breakfast in your dog bowl. A fully-staffed kitchen is onsite for all of your dining needs.

Friday night will be our social around the campfire so old friends can catch up and new friends can be made. Saturday morning after the community breakfast is our showcase event, the Fox Hunt (most likely more than one!). Saturday night there will be presentations featuring noted animal-role players. Following the presentations there will be a BDSM play party in the 2400 square-foot Heart Lodge Reception Hall. You can relax by the campfire, enjoy the olympic-size pool, wander the grounds, hang out at the bonfire, or share in the 13' wide hot tub. The play space will be open 24-hours a day. Additional activities to follow!

FAQs

Do I need to purchase a Bed Roll?

Yes, unless you wish to supply your own blankets, pillows and towels. You are welcome to bring extras if you like. This is different from how we handled bedrolls in 2013.

How do I register if I am sharing a Queen-sized bed with someone else?

That's easy! When you register, select the type of Queen-sized bed that you would like (e.g., shared room, private room, or cabin) and choose a quantity of 1. Select 'Accompanying Person' and choose the quantity of persons accompnaying you. This will enable you to pay for others. If the two of you are paying seperately, only one of you needs to pay for the bed; the other one of you needs to pay for one 'Accompanying Person.' We will ensure that you get to stay together. If you are unsure, please contact us.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

YES! This is an adult-oriented event and all participants are required to be 21 or over by the day of the event. A government-issued ID is required for entry. We cannot make any exceptions.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We are going to try to provide carpooling arrangements where appropriate (this is usually accomplished by letting some folks know who is available to carpool and when). Parking is available on site.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Though this is an animal role-play event, please leave your bio-pets at home! Alocholic beverages are NOT included in the price, so if you wish to imbibe, please bring your own booze. No one will mind if you share.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

We are available via email and telephone. Please call (925) 513-2494.

Is my registration transferrable?

Yes. Please contact us and tell us who your registration will be transferred to.

Can I update my registration information?

Absolutely.

Will I be able to get a refund?

Of course. However, please be advised that there may be a slight charge to cover any administrative costs. In 2013, we were only able to provide refunds except for those requested the week of the event.
