His Majesty the Sultan de l’Aïr Oumarou Bin Ibrahim Oumarou and Her Excellency Professor Hassana Alidou,
Niger Ambassador to the U.S.
Portsmouth Mayor Robert Lister will present the Proclamation of West Africa Day, followed by discussions of regional culture, current events and the recent designation of Agadez as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Please join us in this commemoration of the growing relationship between the Seacoast and our desert neighbors.
Beer, wine and appetizers will be served.
Admission is free - space is limited.
