Integrative Emergency Services is pleased to announce our upcoming Third Annual Quality Summit to take place on Friday, February 19th and Saturday, February 20th at the Irving Convention Center.
The Quality Summit is open to anyone engaged in practicing emergency medicine. Due to previous record attendance, we are anticipating approximately 500 emergency department healthcare providers from the Baylor Scott & White, JPS and other surrounding emergency departments.
Our Annual Quality Summit provides evidence-based CME and will provide you with the tools and resources to make a difference in practicing emergency medicine. The Summit will consist of a hands-on critical procedures course, nursing education, lecture topics surrounding hot topics in emergency medicine, pulmonary hypertension, chronic VAD issues, massive PE and more.
Once again, we will be hosting a Quality Poster Project Contest. Poster submissions from each emergency department will feature a quality or value project that has been successfully implemented. Poster submissions will be on display for all attendees to view throughout the summit. First, second and third place winners will be chosen from the entries and announced at the Quality Summit.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to apply the latest advances in the diagnosis, treatment, clinical skills and practice management innovations necessary for the practice of emergency medicine. A variety of methods will be used, including case presentations, evidence-based medicine, literature reviews and in-depth coverage of the latest clinical controversies.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the Third Annual Quality Summit!
