Linn County Landowner Forum

The Fourth Annual Linn Landowners Forum will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at the Monarch Research Event Center in Marion. If you are a Linn County landowner and interested in adding prairie to your land, starting or improving pollinator prairies, improving woodland health, talking with conservation experts, and more, this is the event for you!

This year we are especially excited to welcome Dr. Doug Tallamy, the foremost national expert on insects and green infrastructure to educate, empower, and yes, even entertain us! Tallamy will take all of us on a stunning, visual journey, showing us how nature can (and will!) provide for itself through a complex web of life that is highly dependent on a scientific balance between plants and insects. Throughout this scenic tour of nature's miracles, he argues we all can “pay it forward” to nature by simply including more native plants in our landscapes. Recognized for his seminal book, "Bringing Nature Home," Tallamy sounds the charge for environmental responsibility as he offers us a guide to restoring “the little things that run the world.”

Price for admission to the forum is $12/ticket, and ticket purchases are not refundable.  We expect the event to sell out quickly so please reserve today!
