Get all of your chickens and goats in a row at Four Mile Historic Park! Join us for an introductory course in small livestock management for the Denver area. This morning session will cover obtaining your flock or herd, tips on housing and feeding, basic healthcare and guidelines to follow for backyard livestock in Denver. Designed for those ages 16 and up.
We will only be covering poultry and goats during this session.
This will be an outdoor course, weather pending, with participation encouraged. Please wear comfortable clothes for being outside and possibly getting dirty. Lunch will not be provided. Drinking water and restrooms are available.
