Founders Day is fast approaching, and we have several events being hosted in the Boston/New England area to celebrate. In honor of Spelman College's 141st Founders Day theme STRONGER Together: Upholding Our Legacy, a new annual tradition is born!

Event 1: The NAASC Northeast Region in conjunction with the New England and Boston chapters are recognizing our beloved founders Harriet E. Giles and Sophia B. Packard with a historic wreath-laying ceremony at their final resting place. On Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 10:00 am Spelman College alumnae and friends are invited to attend this inaugural commemoration at Silver Lake Cemetery, Silver Lake Street in Athol, MA.Events 2 and 3: On Sunday, April 10th, we will host two additional events to honor Founders Day in the Boston area. The first event will be our Sunday worship service hosted by New Hope Baptist Church at 1442 River Street in Boston beginning at 10:20 AM. Sunday service will be followed with a social brunch.
