Milton and Lewis Clarke
Imagine being addressed by the legendary lecturer Lewis Clarke who published Narrative of the Sufferings of Lewis Clarke around 1846; and traveled about giving lectures on his experiences as a slave. Then moments later, before your eyes, he becomes his brother, Milton Clarke, a free man who maintained his freedom because of the efforts of the caring citizens of Painesville. These two siblings share their experiences in the original one-man show entitled “Lewis Clarke: My Brother Milton”. Alan Bomar Jones is the actor that brings these two incredible individuals to life. His writing skills and performance presence will take you back in time as he shows you the hard-hitting life of these two gentlemen. How can he be both brothers? You have to be there to believe it.
