Building in Berkeley – From Incorporation to Series A
On December 2nd The House and WSGR are teaming up to bring together leading investors, entrepreneurs, attorneys, and executives to cover the fundamentals of building a business – from incorporation to Series A.
We are partnering with legendary Silicon Valley law firm WSGR to bring together the Cal startup community for a full-day event to equip the next generation of Cal founders with the right knowledge and network to be successful.
Fundraising – Raising your seed round, preparing yourself for Series A, and fundraising effectively from top VCs
Building in Berkeley – Leveraging Berkeley's many resources for founders across campus
Legal Considerations – Guidance on legal considerations, from incorporation to Series A
Growth – Preparing your startup for hockey-stick growth
Networking – Networking with VCs, advisors, and other Cal founders!
We'll be featuring speakers from WSGR (legal representation for Tesla, Google, etc.), NEA (investors in Jet.com, MongoDB, Fusion-io), Bow Capital (founded by Vivek Ranadivé), Accel (investors in Facebook, Dropbox, Slack), and Lightspeed Ventures (investors in Avamar, Giphy, Snapchat), and others!
*Due to high demand, an Eventbrite ticket DOES NOT guarantee admission to this event. You must be one of the first 200 people to register IN PERSON at the event to guarantee a spot. Doors to the event will close at the end of registration (10:30AM).
Please note that this event is meant for the Berkeley startup community - if you're a Berkeley founder (current student, alumni, faculty) we'd love to see you there!
