5 Week Course

5-Week Course: Every Tuesday February 21 – March 25 1:00 – 3:00pm

*No class on 3/7*

The Founder’s Fundamentals Working Lab is a 5-week master class where you’ll plan, build, test and iterate on the foundation of your business. You are encouraged to bring your team members and workshop together in this highly customized and interactive small group setting. You’ll learn the frameworks and tools to build your best business through activities, guest speakers, white boarding, case studies and lectures as each week’s topic will build on the last. 

 

February 21: Introduction to Business Model Canvas: How to create your business model 

 

February 28: Introduction to Value Proposition Canvas: How to achieve product-market fit

 

*NO CLASS ON 3/7*

 

March 14: Introduction to Unique Value Proposition: How to best describe your value to your customer 

 

March 21: Go-to-Market Strategy: How to put the pieces together to launch or pivot

  

March 28: Final Outcome: Finish with final presentations, including individual sessions and feedback 

 

Arjita Sethi


 

Arjita is a serial social entrepreneur passionate about education. She has an undergraduate degree in physical therapy from India, diploma in drama from LAMDA, London and Masters in social entrepreneurship from Hult, San Francisco. She ran a vocational school for the underpriviliged in India and has taught over 10,000 people, including Indian Army soldiers who were going for UN Peace Keeping Missions. She also started a non profit Hallmark of Peace and Excellence (HOPE) under which trained children in theatre and communication skills. She is now the CEO of Equally, a public benefit corporation that has the purpose of improving access to equal education and opportunities for all. Under Equally, she has launched her first product called School of Games, an early childhood literacy game which currently is being used in US, India, Cambodia and Peru by over 9000 children. She is also the co-founder of Startup India that helps Indian entrepreneurs to scale solutions to India’s biggest problems and serves on the Young Advisory Board of Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center. Arjita has created businesses across cultures and worked with multiple business models to reach scale and impact.

 

The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center is a San Francisco-based non-profit that provides entrepreneurs with access to professional mentorship, classes taught by industry leaders, state-of-the-art media facilities, and events with high-profile thinkers.
