Description

Wellness Class with Dr. Danette Sutton

This class will explain normal physiology of the digestive process so that we may understand how the human body is designed to work!

The gut, brain and liver are all interconnected and all play a big role in digestion. During this class, we will focus on these three major areas. In particular, we will discuss GERD, reflux, H pylori, diverticulitis, leaky gut and IBS (irritable bowel) but other concerns are also welcome. Available testing for these conditions will be covered as well. If you have questions regarding a test result or how to read a label, please bring them.

About the Instructor:

Dr. Danette L. Sutton is a second generation chiropractor, born and raised in Santa Cruz. She received a BS degree from Santa Clara University in Combined Sciences and her DC degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1984. She was certified as an Applied Clinical Nutritionist in 2015. She has studied extensively in subjects including over one thousand hours in homeopathy, in addition to orthopedics, radiology and nutrition, among many other topics. She has a passion for improving health through chiropractic and nutrition and develops an individualized protocol for each patient. Health comes from the inside-out and this requires more time than simply cutting off a pain signal. Her treatment addresses the underlying condition and not just the symptoms.
