- What does it mean to be a Christian today? Our world is always changing yet the Church has continued to thrive for the past 2,000 years! The Church has never stopped growing because it is built upon the timeless truth of God’s Word. The Bible offers real and satisfying answers to life’s biggest questions.
- Foundations, written by Pastor Tom Holladay and Kay Warren, is a systematic look at the Bible’s answers to the big questions of life with an emphasis on not just understanding what the Bible says, but on allowing that truth to transform our lives and move us in to action.
- The 23 week curriculum is divided into three courses or sections. We encourage participants to take all three courses. While they do occur in succession, you do not have to start with Course 1. You may join us at any time. If you do not have a book they will be available for purchase when you attend- The cost is $15.
- We will start with a look at the Afterlife - what happens to me when I die? Are Heaven and Hell real places? If so, what are they like? Then we’ll take an in-depth look at the Church - How did the church come into being? What is it supposed to do? Finally, we will look at what the Bible says about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, taking a survey approach to the various eschatological views while maintaining the Big Picture Truth that Jesus is coming again and we need to be ready! Each evening will include a time of teaching as well as small group discussion.
- No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, or whether you’ve taken any part of Foundations before or not, we invite you to join us for this life-transforming class. We will meet at the Corona Ministry Center (400 S. Ramona Ave. Suite 102) on Wednesday nights at 7pm for 6 weeks and will be instructed by Pastor Rob Fultz as well as other pastors and teachers.
